Sprout’s rocket adventure

Sprout and Miss Willa make a cardboard rocket together at the warm classroom table.

Sprout had used nearly every button in the basket. His rocket was beginning to lean.

“One more?”he asked.

“What will that one do?”Willa asked.

“Something important. I haven’t decided what.”

Willa held the basket steady while he balanced a green button on top.

“What if it doesn’t fly?”

“Where would you like it to go?”

“The moon. Obviously.”
