For the person reading beside them
A story first.
A little room for connection.
You don’t have to turn every page into a lesson. Laugh at the adventure. Notice a feeling. Share something small—or simply enjoy being together.
A few things you might wonder.
What is Wumblewish?
A growing story world about five friends—Sprout, Miri, Bumi, Tali and Dex—and their gentle guide, Miss Willa. Their classroom becomes an imaginary world, but the choices that matter are familiar: listening, making room, asking for help and trying again.
Who are the stories for?
Families who enjoy imaginative read-alouds, expressive characters and thoughtful conversation. We’re refining reading-age guidance and formats as the books are developed, rather than promising a finalized age range here.
Does my child need to answer the questions?
No. Tell, draw, listen or pass. The questions help families talk about feelings, what matters to them, and one small thing to try. Personal sharing is optional; grown-ups share too. Your feelings do not have to match.
Are these therapy or educational programs?
No. They are character-led stories and shared creative prompts. We aim to make room for curiosity and connection, without promising clinical, therapeutic or measured learning outcomes.
What can we read right now?
This free story preview includes 14 illustrated sample pages across four separate adventures: Sprout, Miri, Tali and Dex. The glimpses move between everyday moments, imagined worlds, recognizable feelings and reflection. These illustrated story glimpses introduce the world; they are not complete books. The website journey also offers discussion and shared-making prompts.
Can we buy a book yet?
Not yet. Our illustrated books are still in the making. This free preview has no checkout, preorders, accounts or subscriptions. Release details will be shared here when they are ready.
How will we hear about new stories?
Visit this website for future release information. There is no mailing-list form or connected social account here, and the preview does not ask for an email address.
About privacy in this preview
A shared moment.
Not a collection of answers.
This website’s story reader, activity choices and Quiet mode run locally in the page. They do not submit answers, create child profiles, use analytics, process payments or save personal responses. There is no microphone, camera or location request.
The hosting platform separately processes normal website requests and may keep operational logs. This note describes the preview’s own features, not every hosting-platform operation. Read about this preview and privacy.
Keep it small.
If one question feels like enough, it is enough. If you would rather draw than talk, draw. If today is simply a day for a story, let it be a story.
